Appraisal Notes:
Antique - Pewter Plates. 9.75" dia., 1.5" rim. Set of six matched plates. Test for European as opposed to American and British pewter is the appearance of three or more letters, either in the maker's touch itself or in the Rose and Crown. Angel with scales, sword, etc. is an indication of European origin. From the three touch markes these are probably Dutch - circa 1780s. Very Good condition. 6 - $600.00 each. Marked N. H. W.
