Appraisal Notes:
Antique - Dutch Delft - Polychrome Vases (Perhaps the "B" parts of a five-piece garniture. ABCBA. Octagonally sectioned, slightly waisted, these vases have blue frames in high relief enclosing a scene identical in both with two figures (one fishing from the bank). This was a common feature of such garnitures and the Dutch favored sets of five or seven piece to decorate mantles. One of the pair of vases is makred beneath in manganese with initials B P which may stand for "The Flower Pot" (De Plompet) Factory - 1734-1764. Very Good condition. 2 - $1750.00 each.
